I play on Xbox 360, never really go online so my Gold membership is not active, though if you guys start playing fourza online again I may jump in.

Never owned one of the Dirt franchise games and want to get one, thoughts?

i’ve had all 3.

3 was a lot of fun, esp with the gymkhana mode...but it gets kinda old pretty quick.

2 was the most ‘sim’ of them all

I enjoyed Dirt 3 more than 2. Saying that, I enjoyed the original Dirt even more than 3.

Dirt 2 has a greater selection of trophy trucks and buggies and arguably better tracks for those classes.

Dirt 3 has gymkhana.

Dirt 1 has Pikes Peak.

I almost had every single freakin achievement. And then my sister decided to jump off the stairs onto the rec room level. Disc skips, scratches, and its now useless. I just need to give up and get a new copy of it

DiRT 1 is my favorite. Though between 2 and 3 I want to say 2 is better, but I have played way more of 3 and that is the game I come back to.

If the scratch isn’t too deep you can probably get it resurfaced. Usually only costs a few bucks.

unfortunately not on Xbox 360. But seriously, it’s an incredible game. This was my first time ever driving this car and my first time ever driving this stage. Good enough for the 21st best time on this stage in the world! :O

I prefer the 3rd out of those two. Although I prefer the original Colin mcrae dirt over both and that’s also on 360.

Regardless thanks for the group blog. License plate collecting is a weird niche of car enthusiasts but it’s a lot of fun. Great aesthetics for your garage and you can tell when cars were registered if you know what plates were issued when.
